I'm a PTE Academic coach and a qualified teacher. I help motivated learners get unstuck and reach the score they need: for study, for work, for immigration, for professional registration.
I have taught English to speakers of other languages since 2004, and prepared students for PTE since 2010. Most of the people I work with come from China, India, Nepal, Malaysia, Canada and Australia. They are professionals and students, and they are usually heading somewhere specific: a university place, a visa, professional registration, a licence to practise. I focus on PTE Academic, including PTE Academic UKVI.
I'm a qualified teacher, not only a PTE coach. I hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for K-12, certification from the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT), a TESOL Diploma, and an Adult Education certificate from Ontario, Canada. That training shapes how I work. A good coach does more than mark your essay. They figure out where you actually are, connect the loose threads, and help you build skills that keep paying off after the test.
I started coaching this way after watching too many students lose months to generic courses that never explained why their scores were stuck. So my approach is simple: honest, specific feedback that fits how you learn, not how a syllabus assumes you should.

Every session builds on the last. You'll see your weak areas shrink week by week.
Credentials
My qualifications aren't decoration. They change how I teach. UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification, a TESOL Diploma, and an Ontario Adult Education certificate all mean the same thing in practice: I've been trained in how children and adults actually learn, not just in the subject. Add teaching since 2004 and PTE coaching since 2010, and that's what sits behind the feedback you get.

I've put the best free PTE resources on my Resources page. If you have the discipline and the time to work through them on your own, you may not need me at all. If that's you, go for it. I mean that.
But time is usually the problem. If yours is short, or you'd rather learn how to study well and have someone reassess and steer you as you go, coaching gets you there faster. People don't all learn the same way. That, in one sentence, is why one-to-one work matters.
I'm at a point in life where I want to give something back while I still can. One well-prepared student I've really helped means more to me than a hundred rushed ones. Work with me and you get my full attention, and the truth, every time.
